Huck Finn Satire

According to Dryden, satire is the corrective ridicule or charming raillery of something. Its a literary genre venture to voice an opinion or bring about a change. In this passage from huckaback Finn, mates introduces both get off Douglas and daughter Watson. They are both portrayed as discontinue old women whom huckaback Finn is not amused even the slightest way. leave Douglas is a hypocrite who tries to teach huck about religion. Throughout this hale passage, Twain shows both of these women in their own light from Hucks point of view, and I believe that Twain, without a doubt, shows and satirizes send packing Watson greater than widow woman Douglas through epithets, imitation, and irony. Miss Watson is an erratic character from the start. Huck describes that she came in with goggles on, which muckle depic t some different eccentricities about her. She is most in spades different from her sister, Widow Douglas, by the fact that Miss Watson gives orders and is illiberal of almost everything. She makes sour remarks at Huck, it feels like that she is omnipresent and omnipresent in his life.
